Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Markus Moskjaer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimothy West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Moskjaer counters with a big head kick but West shrugs it off.
West looks winded!
West throws a hook but Moskjaer avoids it easily.
Moskjaer seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Moskjaer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Moskjaer wants to free his trapped foot but West is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Moskjaer frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Moskjaer wants to take West's back but he can't do it this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moskjaer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moskjaer looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Moskjaer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down West for as long as he can get away with.

Moskjaer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Moskjaer.

Moskjaer has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for West! Can he survive? No! He's out! Moskjaer gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
