PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Docherty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrith Ungol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ungol has chosen Kings of Metal as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Docherty has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Docherty there as he acknowledges the shot.

Docherty has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Docherty takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Docherty throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ungol's waist but Ungol gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Docherty off to one side.
Ungol jabs Docherty right on the nose. Docherty blinks but takes it well.
Oh Docherty is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Docherty leaves his chin hanging out and Ungol seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Docherty crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
