Machin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pandora's Music Box. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Dmitry Putin enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machin closes the distance and clinches up with Putin, looking for a takedown. Machin pushes Putin against the cage but Putin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Miguel Machin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Putin.

Machin feints and as Putin raises his hands in defense, Machin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Putin feints a jab promting Machin to slip. Putin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Machin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Putin lands a hook that stumbles Machin back into the cage. Putin follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Machin to the canvas! Putin pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Machin has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Dmitry Putin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
