The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Perez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Magomedov bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Perez darts in looking for a takedown but Magomedov gets double underhooks and turns Perez into the cage.
Perez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Perez is defended easily by Magomedov.
Magomedov avoids the body shot from Perez.

Oooooh!!! Magomedov has knocked Perez down with a huge combo! Magomedov steps away and waves a wobbly Perez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Perez is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Magomedov goes for a small jab and connects. Now Magomedov goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Perez stumbles back but Magomedov runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Perez to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Perez will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
