Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Uoi Ishida (ranked 9201 p4p, 776 weight class) and Awano Shibusawa (ranked 8624 p4p, 747 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shibusawa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.


It looks like Uoi Ishida has been cut.

Our sources have told us that Ishida has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Shibusawa lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ishida backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Shibusawa counters by moving into the clinch.

Uoi Ishida is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Shibusawa closes the distance and catches Ishida with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Ishida is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Ishida is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Ishida is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Shibusawa takes it!
