The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicholson throws a right hand that misses

and Infidellus counters with a crisp one two that drops Nicholson! Infidellus thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Nicholson to his feet! Nicholson is in big trouble!

Nicholson is rocked!
Nicholson shoots in looking for a takedown but Infidellus manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nicholson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Oh Nicholson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nicholson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Infidellus swivels and escapes.
Infidellus lands with a cross.
Infidellus checks a leg kick nicely.
Infidellus misses with the combination.
Nice uppercut there from Infidellus.
Infidellus throws a body shot but no joy.
Nicholson seems to have got his legs back now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nicholson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Infidellus lands a left and a right that send Nicholson crashing to the mat, dazed. Infidellus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Nicholson walks straight into a right hand from Infidellus - that's dropped him! Infidellus jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nicholson from any more punishment! Nicholson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
