PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Leonitis (ranked 5647 p4p, 590 weight class) and Black Dynamite (ranked 8043 p4p, 700 weight class). Dynamite has chosen BLACK DYNAMITE THEME as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Leonitis .
Leonitis lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dynamite has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Dynamite.
Dynamite misses the shot to the body.

Dynamite feints a jab promting Leonitis to slip. Dynamite then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Leonitis slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Black Dynamite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circle momentarily. Dynamite darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Dynamite fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leonitis manages to avoid it.

Dynamite scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A nice side step and Dynamite releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Leonitis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dynamite throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leonitis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Leonitis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dynamite.
Dynamite misses with a body shot.
Dynamite scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dynamite throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Leonitis is breathing heavily.
Leonitis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Dynamite checks a leg kick nicely.
Dynamite tries to move into range but Leonitis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Dynamite punishes Leonitis 's body with a nice straight punch.
Dynamite lands with a nice combination. Leonitis backs away looking to recover.
Donk. Dynamite catches Leonitis right on the button with a cross.

Leonitis is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leonitis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dynamite.
Leonitis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Oh Leonitis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dynamite is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Leonitis had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dynamite.

Dynamite drops Leonitis with a beautiful combination! Leonitis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dynamite is looking for the KO!

Oooooh!!! Dynamite has knocked Leonitis down with a huge combo! Dynamite steps away and waves a wobbly Leonitis back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Leonitis is looking to land body kicks.
A little jabbing left from Dynamite on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dynamite cracks a nice hook into Leonitis 's ribs.
Dynamite lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Leonitis head around and knocks him out cold! Dynamite hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
