Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Theodore Fisherman!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farfan doesn't manage to clinch there - Fisherman circles away.
Fisherman steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Farfan.

Farfan lands a big head kick that sends Fisherman tumbling to the mat! Farfan takes a step backwards and waves Fisherman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fisherman scores with a takedown into Farfan's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fisherman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Farfan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fisherman.
Fisherman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fisherman passes Farfan's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Fisherman slows the pace down in half guard.

Fisherman stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Farfan to get to his feet.

Farfan gets tackled into the cage by Fisherman. Fisherman maintains the clinch.
Farfan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Farfan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fisherman is trying to force a seperation but Farfan has the dominant position.
Farfan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Fisherman wants to get back to striking at distance but Farfan won't allow it.
Farfan can't break the clinch.
Farfan prevents the takedown attempt.
Fisherman is trying to pull guard but Farfan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Farfan tries to circle away but Fisherman has him pinned against the cage.

Farfan gets underhooks to prevent Fisherman's takedown attempt.
BJ Farfan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Theodore Fisherman.
Fisherman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Farfan's efforts to push away.
Fisherman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Farfan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Farfan tries to throw a body punch but Fisherman avoids it by throwing Farfan back against the cage.
Fisherman is trying to break the clinch but Farfan is controlling him.
Farfan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Fisherman pushes Farfan off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Fisherman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Farfan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Fisherman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Fisherman stands and steps away. Farfan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Fisherman fails with the takedown.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fight stays on the outside here - Farfan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fisherman rushes Farfan and presses him up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Fisherman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Farfan avoids it really well and circles away.
BJ Farfan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Fisherman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Fisherman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Farfan sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Farfan wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fisherman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Fisherman with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Farfan is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Fisherman looking to control and managing it successfully.

Fisherman working for a guillotine from mount but Farfan is in no mood to give up.
Fisherman misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fisherman pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Farfan is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Fisherman is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Farfan is surviving well by controlling Fisherman's body position as best he can.
Fisherman unloads with some shots from mount but Farfan bucks and avoids them well.
Fisherman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Theodore Fisherman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Let's hope that Fisherman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Fisherman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Farfan defends well.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Farfan tries to stall but Fisherman uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Farfan is pushing Fisherman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Fisherman shoots in for a takedown but Farfan shows good takedown defense.
