PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Daniel Kennamer (ranked 2938 p4p, 336 weight class) and Optimus Prime (ranked 3871 p4p, 428 weight class). Kennamer comes to the cage accompanied by J.D. Sumner - Old Man River. Prime has chosen Rich Boy - Boy Looka Here as his entrance music. Optimus Prime is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 29 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Optimus Prime!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennamer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Prime rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kennamer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Prime parries the strikes from Kennamer easily there. Kennamer is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Prime to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prime manages to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prime is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Prime leaves Kennamer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Prime misses the body punch
and Kennamer counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Prime to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Kennamer!
