PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Demented (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Demented!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Hitman!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hitman gets a clinch.

Demented gets control of Hitman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Demented will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Hitman landing with the ground and pound.
Hitman throwing strikes but missing.
Hitman throws and elbow that misses. Demented uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hitman's guard. Nice move by Demented!

Hitman is looking for a triangle but Demented pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Demented wants to stand but Hitman is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hitman has his foot on Demented's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Demented works his way back into a safe position though.
Hitman wants to improve his position but instead Demented has moved into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Demented wants to free his trapped foot but Hitman is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hitman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hitman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Hitman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Hitman with the active half guard here but Demented passes nicely into side control.
Hitman looks gassed!
Demented is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hitman's shoulder. That is not cool.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hitman is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Demented decides to stand back up.
Hitman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Damien Demented is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Decent striking displayed by Demented there.
Ken Hitman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Demented lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Demented lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hitman takes a step back to recover.
Crunch! Demented slams his shin into Hitman's torso.
Demented dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Demented, right into the meat.
Demented scores with the left hand. Hitman knows he should have avoided that one.
Demented fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hitman.

Demented throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Demented with a nice cross.
Demented fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Demented tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Demented with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hitman tries to close the distance and clinch but Demented swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Demented tests Hitman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A jab from Demented finds it's way through Hitman's defenses.
Demented ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Demented connects with a solid leg kick.
Demented scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hitman is rocked!
Demented lands with a nice body punch.
Hitman is still on wobbly legs! Can Demented finish him?
Demented lands a hook that stumbles Hitman back into the cage. Demented follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Hitman to the canvas! Demented pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Hitman has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
