Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Seffu (ranked 7185 p4p, 761 weight class) and Moloch Madakassan (ranked 18981 p4p, 955 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ray Seffu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Moloch Madakassan!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madakassan throws a solid leg kick but Seffu takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Madakassan.
Madakassan misses with a right hand
and Seffu counters with a nice uppercut.

A nice leg kick lands there from Madakassan.
Madakassan misses with a two punch combination.
Madakassan lands a jab to the head.
Madakassan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Seffu.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Madakassan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Seffu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Madakassan is working away from the top position though.

Madakassan is taking a breather. Seffu says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Seffu is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Killer Instinct ☠ that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Seffu is looking for a sweep. Madakassan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Seffu takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Seffu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Madakassan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
