Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Hidalgo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leviathan Leauxed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leauxed throws a body shot but no joy.
Hidalgo tries to close the distance and clinch but Leauxed swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Leauxed avoids the head kick by Hidalgo.
Leauxed let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Hidalgo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Leauxed as he jumps to the side.
Ruben Hidalgo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hidalgo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.

Leauxed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hidalgo was well out of range. Poor timing from Leauxed.

and Leauxed counters with a crisp right that sends Hidalgo to the canvas! Leauxed follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
