The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodson misses with a body shot
and Frettish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dodson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Frettish misses with a looping left.

Dodson moves into range and clinches up with Frettish.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frettish will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dodson up against the cage.
Dodson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Frettish breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Frettish counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Frettish misses with a hook. Dodson ducked under it nicely.

and Dodson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
