The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bill blocks a head kick by Maxar.
Bill shoots and misses
and Maxar makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Maxar cracks Bill with a right hand to the side of the head.

That has opened up Dollar Bill's cut even more.
Maxar cracks a nice hook into Bill's ribs.
Bill fails in his attempt to clinch.
Maxar scores with a leg kick.
Bill shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Maxar as he jumps to the side.
Maxar buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dollar Bill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick lands from Maxar.

Bill clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bill tries to score a body lock takedown but Maxar shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Wolfblitzer Maxar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dollar Bill.
Maxar lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bill looks winded!
Maxar lands with a left to the head.
Maxar scores with a knee to the head.
Bill has Maxar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Maxar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
The referee calls for Maxar to work.

The cut above Dollar Bill's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Maxar stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Maxar throws a big uppercut that drops Bill! More strikes from Maxar and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bill lies dazed against the cage as Maxar celebrates with his cornermen!
