The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clements slips a jab and a cross from Sincari.

Sincari is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clements defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sincari has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Clements is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sincari pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Clements back to the cage. Sincari follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Filiberto Clements has been cut.

and Sincari counters with a series of strikes. Clements will be more careful next time no doubt.

Sincari closes the distance looking for a takedown. Clements stuffs it but Sincari still has hold of him. Sincari picks Clements up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Sincari slams Clements to the floor and that's really hurt Clements - he doesn't know where he is! Sincari throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
