Bear has chosen Keep rolling as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear misses with a wild combination.
Fred Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Valley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bear throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up but Valley swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Valley counters with a single leg into guard. Bear didn't expect that.

Bear tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Valley swivels and escapes.

Valley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bear pulls Valley in close to prevent any damage.

Valley is looking to work some ground and pound but Bear has wrist control.
Valley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bear on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bear wants to stand but Valley is controlling the position.
Valley looking to sit in guard and control but Bear gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bear postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bear can't do much from the bottom here.
Valley scores with a couple of short elbows.
Bear takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Valley is looking to take a break and control but Bear is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fred Bear has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bear sneaks out the side door and pushes Valley away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Valley throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bear tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Valley is in Bear's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hummer Valley will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
