Ribeiro is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jaa to keep the fight standing.

Jaa gets through Ribeiro's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Ribeiro ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ribeiro no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ribeiro is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jaa rolls with it to try and escape but Ribeiro cranks on the arm and Jaa is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

After the fight, Edson Ribeiro was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
