Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres tries to close the distance and clinch but Kelmendi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It seemed like Kelmendi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Torres tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kelmendi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Torres looks to land a body kick but Kelmendi moved away.
Torres staying out of range there.
Klajdi Kelmendi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torres doesn't manage to clinch there - Kelmendi circles away.
Kelmendi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Torres wants to clinch.
Kelmendi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Torres shoots in and bounces Kelmendi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Torres trying to mount his opponent but Kelmendi defends it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Torres works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Torres decides to stand back up.
Torres tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Torres shoots in and drives through. Kelmendi sprawls well.
Torres fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kelmendi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Torres shoots and misses
and Kelmendi counters with a left to the body.

Torres fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kelmendi, pushing him back against the cage.

Torres escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kelmendi misses with a hook from the clinch.
Torres fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kelmendi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Torres's elbow.
Torres is trying to drag Kelmendi to the mat but Kelmendi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricco Torres. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Torres tries to pull guard but Kelmendi holds him up against the cage and eventually Torres drops back down to his feet.
Kelmendi misses with a hook to the ribs.

Torres fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Torres prevents a body shot from Kelmendi.
Torres misses with a body punch.
Kelmendi gets underhooks to prevent Torres's takedown attempt.
Kelmendi lands a shot to the body.
Kelmendi content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Torres tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kelmendi tries a body shot but Torres blocks it.

Torres escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Torres defending well as Kelmendi loads up on a big left hand.
Kelmendi cracks Torres with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Torres looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kelmendi is fending him off so far but Torres persists. Nope, Kelmendi circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kelmendi misses with a body shot.
Torres lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Kelmendi cracks Torres with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Torres tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kelmendi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Torres somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Klajdi Kelmendi will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Torres is defended easily by Kelmendi.
Kelmendi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

and Kelmendi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A slow jab from Kelmendi misses its intended target.
Torres fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kelmendi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Torres avoids the body shot from Kelmendi.
Klajdi Kelmendi seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Torres keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kelmendi.

Torres throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kelmendi misses the jab.
Kelmendi takes a swing at Torres's ribcage but misses.
Torres displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kelmendi throws out the jab.

Kelmendi cracks Torres with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Torres looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kelmendi finish him?

Torres is rocked!

It looks like Ricco Torres has been cut.
Kelmendi lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Torres - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Kelmendi!

Klajdi Kelmendi opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
