PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pearse Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorg Vancamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jorg Vancamp was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Vancamp to counter with a crisp jab.
Mullen tries to clinch but Vancamp is having none of it.
Vancamp tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Mullen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Vancamp! But no joy.
Mullen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As Vancamp looks to move away, Mullen throws a big counter combo but Vancamp just gets out of the way.

Vancamp shoots in looking for a takedown. Mullen tries to sprawl out of it but Vancamp keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mullen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pearse Mullen.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mullen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
