Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Erick Clap (ranked 2043 p4p, 224 weight class) and Daniel Silvestre (ranked 1962 p4p, 218 weight class). Clap comes to the ring accompanied by Burn it to the ground. Silvestre has chosen El Chapo - The Game feat Skrillex as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Silvestre!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvestre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Daniel Silvestre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silvestre moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Silvestre swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Silvestre thumps Clap with a low kick.
Silvestre stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Silvestre uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Clap.

Silvestre's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Clap connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Silvestre scrambles back to his feet.

and Clap counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silvestre thinking.

Clap scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Erick Clap.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clap, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
