Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christur Eskenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Christur Eskenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Samuel King!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eskenson but Eskenson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Eskenson throws a head kick but King moves out of range.

King gets a double leg takedown into Eskenson's guard.
Eskenson wants to sweep but no luck.

Eskenson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Eskenson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

King has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Eskenson is on him like a limpet, forcing King back against the cage.

Eskenson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
King gets to his feet. Eskenson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
King has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Eskenson is landing a low percentage of strikes.

King gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
King has a closed guard, preventing Eskenson from standing up.
Eskenson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Samuel King will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

King tries to bench press Eskenson off him but Eskenson keeps the position.
King manages to work his way to half guard, despite Eskenson's best efforts.
Eskenson wants to stand but King has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
King is trying to control but Eskenson passes into side control!
Eskenson is staying tight to King's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Eskenson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Eskenson tries to advance to mount but can't.
King tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Eskenson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Eskenson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. King manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Eskenson shoots in but no luck this time.

King tries to sprawl but Eskenson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
King is trying to get back to full guard.
King is trying to stand up here but Eskenson is controlling him well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Eskenson in particular looking to stall.

King is breathing heavily.
Eskenson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Eskenson has knee on belly and moves into mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Christur Eskenson dominated that second round.
That's time! Eskenson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Eskenson throws a series of punches but King avoids them all with ease.

Eskenson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Eskenson moves forwards but King connects with a nice, crisp jab.

As Eskenson backs off King throws a huge counter combo but Eskenson manages to avoid it all.
Eskenson tries to clinch up but King circles away and keeps his distance.
King has a takedown stuffed.
Eskenson appears to be looking for a big counter.

King stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and King wants it to stay on the feet.
King lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

and King counters with a big head kick but Eskenson shrugs it off.

King shoots in and drives through. Eskenson sprawls well.

Eskenson shoots in and bounces King off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
King is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


King is looking for a kimura but Eskenson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for King to get the leverage.

Eskenson wants to control but King is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Eskenson is doing well to control the position and prevent King from advancing to side control.
King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eskenson keeps working.

Eskenson has his hands clasped together around King's back. He's all about the action.
King wants to control but Eskenson is keeping him busy.
Eskenson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eskenson tries to get out of the position.
Eskenson pushes King off looking to stand but King dives back in and keeps control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Eskenson fails to land the takedown.

King has Eskenson up against the cage in a clinch.
King is looking to take this one to the mat.
King wants to break the clinch but can't.
King tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Eskenson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and King avoids it.

King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eskenson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King.

And that's the end of the fight!
Samuel King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think King has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
