The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soriano lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Soriano closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Soriano drives through and clinches with Pruitt against the cage.
Pruitt is trying to break the clinch but Soriano is controlling him.

Soriano breaks from the clinch.
Soriano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Soriano connects with a leg kick. Pruitt looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pruitt fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pruitt blocks a head kick by Soriano.
Soriano feints a jab promting Pruitt to slip. Soriano then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pruitt slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Pruitt is rocked!

Pruitt throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Soriano comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Pruitt stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Soriano is on him like rabid pit bull! Pruitt slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edward Soriano!
