The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Barover drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Garrett regains half guard.
Garrett with the active half guard here but Barover passes nicely into side control.

Barover tries for a kimura but Garrett is defending well.
Barover has hold of Garrett's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Garrett seems comfortable defending it but Barover has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Garrett is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Garrett is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Barover couldn't care less - he's delighted!
