Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cifton has managed to clinch.

Carson really is a fat lump.
Cifton throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Cifton pulls Carson in close to his closed guard and prevents Carson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Cifton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A close round but Jack Cifton will probably get the nod.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cifton loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Carson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Cifton land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Cifton stands and salutes the crowd.
