Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arlie Giles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hungarian Hotdog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hotdog is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by George Ezra - Budapest. Hungarian Hotdog has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hotdog throws a right and a left that Giles avoids nicely.
Giles attempts a counter takedown but Hotdog avoids it well and moves away.
Hotdog scores with a nice strike.
Giles shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hotdog counters with a left and a right that stings Giles.
Giles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hotdog swivels and escapes.
Hotdog throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hotdog goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A jab from Hotdog finds it's way through Giles's defenses.
Hotdog tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Giles was well out of range. Poor timing from Hotdog.

Giles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hotdog but Hotdog pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hotdog might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Hungarian Hotdog seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Giles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hotdog swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Giles takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Hotdog counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Giles moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hotdog takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Giles tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hotdog defends well and Giles ends up having to push Hotdog into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Giles goes for a double leg but Hotdog avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hotdog continues to drive forward.
