Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boo Seik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Muse - Starlight. Boo Seik has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Scotty Johnson's chin.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson is looking to clinch but Seik is avoiding it.
Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Seik swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Seik misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Johnson.
Seik is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fight stays on the outside here - Seik looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Johnson just misses with a punch to the body.
Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Seik pushes him off.
Johnson wants to clinch up but Seik keeps it at a distance.
Johnson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Johnson moves into range and clinches up with Seik.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson looks to land a combination but Seik avoids it well.

Johnson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Boo Seik has been cut.
Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johnson moves out of range as Seik throws a body kick.
Seik takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Seik. Seik gets slowly back to his feet.
Seik looks gassed!

Seik clinches up against the cage.

Scotty Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boo Seik.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Seik paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Seik takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Johnson closes the distance looking to clinch

and Seik counters with a takedown into side control.
Johnson gets back to half guard.

Johnson manages to escape and get back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Seik in real trouble here! The ref calls for Seik to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
