Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marceau with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Marceau tries a head kick but it misses.
Marceau feints and then cracks Hill's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hill down.

Marceau knocks Hill to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Hill is rocked!
Marceau cracks Hill with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Oh Hill is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hill parries the strikes from Marceau easily there. Marceau is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hill to escape.
Hill is trying to escape the position but Marceau is controlling the position.
Hill seems to have got his legs back now.
Hill wants to get back to his feet but Marceau drags him back down.
Marceau is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Hill tries to bench press Marceau off him but Marceau keeps the position.

Hill sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Marceau tries to land knees in the clinch but Hill avoids the damage to the body.

Marceau pushes Hill back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Xavier Marceau dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd cheers as Marceau lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hill doesn't seem phased though.
Hill throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Marceau lands a high kick to the side of Hill's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Marceau dives into guard, looking to finish.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marceau is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Marceau must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hill tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Marceau can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hill is looking to escape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Despite being in the dominant position, Xavier Marceau just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Marceau.
Hill doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Marceau cracks Hill with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

A solid leg kick lands there for Marceau.
Marceau is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Hill hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
