Defiler has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hansen is on him like a limpet, forcing Defiler back against the cage.

Defiler is trying to get back to his feet.
Hansen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Defiler keeps working.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Let's hope that Hansen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hansen cracks Defiler with an uppercut from hell and Defiler crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Hansen's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Well Hansen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
