Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Jenever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Scott might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Massive Attack - One thought at a time. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott scores with a takedown into Jenever's guard.
Scott wants to control from the top but Jenever keeps moving.
Jenever working a defensive guard but Scott manages to pass into side control anyway.
Jenever tries to buck Scott off but Scott is having none of it.
Scott trying to control the action but Jenever is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jenever avoids the attempt from Scott to control.
Jenever has hold of Scott's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Scott manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jenever lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Scott is working to get back to half guard.
Tom Jenever has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jenever throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Jenever stands up from mount. Strange move.
Jenever shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jenever was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Scott manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Jenever wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scott keeps working.

Scott is refusing to be controlled, as Jenever sits in half guard.

Tom Jenever showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Jenever lands an overhand right.
Jenever throws a shot from downtown. Scott moves away and avoids it.
Jenever gets a takedown into half guard.
Scott looking for submissions off his back.
Jenever postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Scott to stand up.

Jenever shoots in and bounces Scott off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jenever working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jenever stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scott swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Scott had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jenever is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Scott Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jenever's back instead.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jenever holding both Scott 's hands and preventing any damage.
Scott lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Jenever hold on?!
Jenever breaks Scott's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Jenever won't allow Scott to sweep him here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Scott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jenever shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jenever showed some decent athleticism there.

Tom Jenever is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Jenever is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Scott is just riding it out for now. Jenever eventually gives up the hold.

Well Jenever has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
