The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farrell fails with a takedown attempt.
Haiwei was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Lu Haiwei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farrell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Farrell moves out of range of the strikes.
Farrell takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Haiwei throws a jab but it's blocked by Farrell.
Farrell throws a poor cross that misses
and Haiwei counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Farrell is defended easily by Haiwei.
Haiwei throwing a counter right hand but Farrell manages to avoid it.
Lu Haiwei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor Farrell.
