The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slim fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vazquez to the ground. Slim is now in Vazquez's guard.
Slim seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Vazquez is adopting a defensive guard.
Vazquez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Vazquez seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Slim shoots in and gets a takedown into Vazquez's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Slim changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vazquez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Slim decides to stand back up. Slim steps back and let's Vazquez get back to his feet.
Slim on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vazquez. Vazquez obviously looking to wear him down.
Slim shoots in and bounces Vazquez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Slim throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vazquez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Slim is in Vazquez's guard.

Slim stands up from Vazquez's guard - Slim perhaps looking for a knockout.
Slim has closed the distance and engaged Vazquez in a clinch.
Slim is trying to push Vazquez away but Vazquez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Slim manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Vazquez is looking to work some ground and pound but Slim has wrist control.
Vazquez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Henry Vazquez will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Slim shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vazquez is trying to defend but Slim finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Slim is stalling here. Vazquez is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Slim seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Vazquez has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Slim bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Vazquez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slim is controlling him.
Slim drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Vazquez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Slim has Vazquez in his guard.
Vazquez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Slim's head.

Slim wants to hit a switch here but Vazquez passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Slim there!

Vazquez lands a couple of good shots and Slim has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Slim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Slim is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
