The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller lands a glancing blow to the side of Cormier's head.
Miller throws a jab when Cormier was well out of range.
Miller thuds his right hand into Cormier's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Jon Cormier has been cut.
Miller scores with a shot to the body.

Miller clinches up with Cormier and pushes him back against the cage.
Miller working some nice short punches in the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Miller fails to land.
Cormier is working for takedown but Miller is calmly controlling the position for now.
Miller lands with a right to the head.
A body shot lands from Miller.
Miller lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cormier wants to take the fight to the mat but Miller manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Miller scores with a nice hook to the head.

Cormier is rocked!
Cormier is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Miller to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Cormier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice body punch from Miller.
Miller lands a right hand.
Miller gets through Cormier's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oh Cormier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miller lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Cormier is breathing heavily.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Miller creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Miller throws a big uppercut that drops Cormier! More strikes from Miller and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Cormier lies dazed against the cage as Miller celebrates with his cornermen!
