The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varnersson takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Bjorg Varnersson has been cut.
Varnersson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gharibi with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Gharibi dives in and grabs Varnersson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Varnersson pushes down on Gharibi's head and hops out.
Gharibi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gharibi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gharibi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Gharibi lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Varnersson.
Gharibi lands a hook that snaps the head of Varnersson backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Gharibi.
Gharibi lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Varnersson is rocked!
Gharibi dips a shoulder and cracks Varnersson with a mighty uppercut! Varnersson falls back against the cage and Gharibi unloads with a barrage of strikes! Varnersson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Gharibi screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sajad Gharibi!
Sajad Gharibi decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
