Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Uaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Olyanek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uaz's entrance music is Velvet Revolver - Psycho Killer. A fine choice. Olyanek has chosen oy, to ne vecher as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Uaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Olyanek!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olyanek shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Uaz's guard.

Uaz has his feet on Olyanek's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Uaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Olyanek has a takedown stuffed.
Olyanek throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Olyanek shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Uaz as he avoids it easily.
Olyanek swats away the attempt to clinch by Uaz.

Uaz fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Uaz, right into the meat.
Igor Uaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Olyanek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Uaz's waist but Uaz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Olyanek off to one side.
Igor Uaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Olyanek.
Uaz misses with a few strikes there.
Olyanek fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Uaz is out of range.
Uaz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Olyanek makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Olyanek closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Uaz tries to escape but Olyanek is in control.

Olyanek is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Uaz has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Olyanek tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Olyanek has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Olyanek working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Olyanek wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Uaz, who protects the arm well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Olyanek wants to control but Uaz is keeping him busy.
Uaz is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Olyanek has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Uaz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Olyanek wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Uaz, who protects the arm well.
Uaz wants to get back to his feet but Olyanek drags him back down.
Uaz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Uaz tries to get out of the position.

Olyanek is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Uaz has escaped the position, nice work there.
Uaz pushes Olyanek away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Olyanek gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Olyanek laying and praying for a moment but Uaz takes advantage and regains half guard.
Uaz looks like he's trying to stand up.
Uaz is not content to let Olyanek control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Olyanek looks to land a body kick but Uaz moved away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Olyanek avoids a punch combination nicely.
Uaz wants to clinch up but Olyanek keeps it at a distance.
Olyanek finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Uaz stuffs the takedown attempt from Olyanek. Olyanek gets slowly back to his feet.

Olyanek shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Olyanek showed some decent athleticism there.
Olyanek wants to free his trapped foot but Uaz is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Uaz is in trouble now - Olyanek has advanced to mount!

Olyanek is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Uaz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Olyanek wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Olyanek is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Uaz has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Uaz wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sergei Olyanek dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Olyanek tries to advance to mount but can't.

Olyanek wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Uaz, who protects the arm well.
Olyanek is trying to move to mount but Uaz reverses beautifully and ends up in Olyanek's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Olyanek misses with a takedown attempt - Uaz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Olyanek counters with a nice leg kick.
Olyanek throws a series of punches but Uaz avoids them all with ease.
Uaz throws out a loose jab but Olyanek uses good head movement to avoid it.
Olyanek shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Olyanek works over Uaz's head and body with a nice combination.
Uaz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


It looks like Sergei Olyanek has been cut.
Uaz lands with a nice combination. Olyanek backs away looking to recover.


Olyanek is rocked!
Olyanek bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Uaz comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Olyanek falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Olyanek was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Igor Uaz!
