The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lincoln keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A little jabbing left from Lincoln on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
McVeigh throws a head kick that misses
and Lincoln counters with a nice body shot.
McVeigh tries a head kick but it misses.
Lincoln swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
McVeigh moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Aidan McVeigh has been cut.
Lincoln scores with a shot to the body.
We've been hearing reports that McVeigh has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
McVeigh takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A left lands for Lincoln.
McVeigh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lincoln counters with a stiff right hand.
Lincoln throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Lincoln throws a leg kick but McVeigh sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Lincoln sends McVeigh crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lincoln is motioning to the referee to let McVeigh up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

McVeigh is rocked!
