The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Castaneda tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Castaneda somewhat.
Tar tries a quick counter leg kick but Castaneda is wise to it.

Tar loads up on a big right hand but Castaneda slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

And Tar responds with a good body kick, but Castaneda manages to step out the way in time.

Castaneda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tar uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Castaneda has time to react.

Tar closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Castaneda! Tar dives in looking to finish! Castaneda is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
