Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Smit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Kickass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smit comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be Touched. Kickass comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cormega - Get out my way kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Joe Kickass has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Paul Smit's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Kickass!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smit keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kickass looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smit is fending him off so far but Kickass persists. Nope, Smit circles away and we're back to standing.
A decent looking cross lands there for Smit.
Joe Kickass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smit lands with a thumping leg kick.
Smit uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kickass.
Kickass tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smit swivels and escapes.
Kickass shoots for a takedown but Smit saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Paul Smit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Kickass.
Kickass fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Smit.
Kickass looks for a takedown but Smit sprawls well.
No luck for Kickass with that takedown attempt.

Smit turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Smit throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kickass.
Kickass misses with a takedown attempt - Smit sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Smit lands with a slapping head kick.
Smit keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A head kick from Smit lands but Kickass takes it in his stride.
Kickass shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Crunch! Smit slams his shin into Kickass's torso.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smit throws a head kick that Kickass semi-blocks.
Kickass swings for the body but Smit moves out of range.
Nice cross by Smit.
Nice jab there from Smit.
A head kick from Smit lands but Kickass takes it in his stride.
Kickass walks straight into a right hand from Smit - that's dropped him! Smit jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kickass from any more punishment! Kickass complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
