Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mak Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayhem has chosen SIX FEET UNDER-Dead and Buried as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man shoots in for a double leg but Mayhem sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mayhem takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mayhem tries to clinch up.
Mayhem thows a left - swing and a miss!

Mayhem moves into the clinch.
Mayhem lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Mak Man has been cut.

Man has clasped his hands together around Mayhem's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Man lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Mayhem regains half guard.
Mayhem is trying to stand up here but Man is controlling him well.
Mayhem won't allow Man to pass to mount.
Mayhem throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Man is controlling the pace.
Man tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mayhem knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Man keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Man takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Man is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Man is working for a submission of some sort.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mayhem is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Man pulls his head out easily.
Mayhem is not content to let Man control the position.

Man is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mayhem is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Man keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Man passes the guard and advances to mount!
Man misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Man trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Man get's back to his feet.
Mayhem wants to clinch.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mayhem as he avoids it easily.
Man slips a straight right by Mayhem.
Man avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Man tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mayhem swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mak Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Man is breathing heavily.

Man shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Man manages to capitalize on a mistake by Mayhem to take his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Mak Man's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mayhem on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mayhem rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Man moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mayhem looks to land a combination but Man avoids it well.

Mayhem changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Man looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mayhem is putting a hurting on Man here, landing some big shots from side control.
Man is looking to regain half guard here but Mayhem keeps moving and retains side control.
Man is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Mayhem thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Man to regain full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mayhem is looking to work some ground and pound but Man has wrist control.

Mayhem wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving.
Man seems keen to control Mayhem's posture.
Man is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Man controls Mayhem momentarily but Mayhem frees himself.
Mayhem working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Man's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Man working for a triangle but Mayhem defends it easily.
Man has control of Mayhem's left arm, preventing Mayhem from doing any damage.

Man is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mayhem throwing strikes but missing.
Mayhem won't allow Man to sweep him here.
Man wants to control the position but Mayhem says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Mayhem trying to control from half guard but Man is working away.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mayhem is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Man wants to control but Mayhem is keeping busy.
Man wants to improve his position but Mayhem is controlling well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Man tries to kick Mayhem off but Mayhem keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mick Mayhem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Mak Man's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mayhem moves into range and clinches up with Man.

Man breaks from the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mayhem.
Mayhem is looking to clinch.
Mayhem tries to clinch up but Man circles away and keeps his distance.

Man scores a takedown into full mount!
Mayhem is trying desperately to improve position.
Man looking to control and managing it successfully.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Mayhem is in all sorts of trouble here.

Man can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mayhem is looking to escape.
Man landing punches.
Man with the ground and pound from mount.
Mayhem is arching his back trying to strike from the bottom but Man turns him over and now has his back.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Will Man go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Mayhem takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Man wants to control but Mayhem is keeping busy.
Man lands strikes to the head.

Man has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Mayhem tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Mayhem throwing hammer fists to the chest of Man. What's that going to do exactly?
Mayhem gives up his back whilst trying to strike.

Mayhem breaks Man's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Man is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Man tries to stand and escape but Mayhem actually recovers to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Man trying to control the position from guard on top but Mayhem is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mak Man showed his dominance in that final round.
