The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bingisser changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stevens looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bingisser tries to stand but Stevens is controlling his head.
Bingisser lands some shots froms side control.
Stevens is looking for a sweep.
Bingisser works to advance to full mount. Stevens defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Bingisser working the ground and pound effectively.
Stevens wants to hold on but Bingisser pushes him away.
Stevens is trying to escape the mount.
Bingisser has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stevens is working hard here to advance position.

Bingisser cracks Stevens with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bingisser fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Stevens is in a horrible position here. Bingisser smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Bingisser wants to finish this one by submission but Stevens is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bingisser.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stevens is squirming around, avoiding Bingisser's attempts to control the action.

Stevens defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bingisser.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bingisser thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Stevens tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stevens wants to hold on but Bingisser pushes him away.
Bingisser wants to control the pace but Stevens is squirming around nicely.
Stevens is in all sorts of trouble here.
Stevens on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stevens tries to get out of the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Stevens is trying to escape the mount.
Stevens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bingisser on the ground.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bingisser is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Stevens's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Stevens's back!
Bingisser has the hooks in. Stevens is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bingisser scores with strikes from the back.
Stevens wants to escape the position.
Bingisser tries to keep control of the position but Stevens is staying busy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bingisser is punishing Stevens with strikes - can he finish him?!
Bingisser is hanging on to Stevens's back as he tries to escape.
Bingisser is looking to control Stevens but Stevens is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Bingisser keeps control of the position as Stevens tries to break free.

Bingisser lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Bingisser.
Bingisser trying to control momentarily.
I really don't envy Stevens right now.

Bingisser is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Stevens has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Bingisser has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Stevens taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Bingisser doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Robert Bingisser!
