Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ato Boldon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and It Kiefa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). It Kiefa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiefa keeps the fight on the outside.
Boldon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Boldon misses with a body kick.

Kiefa has Boldon up against the cage in a clinch.

Boldon jumps into guard, dragging Kiefa to the mat.
Kiefa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kiefa goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ato Boldon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kiefa takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kiefa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kiefa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boldon swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Boldon takes the fight into the clinch.

Boldon is wriggling around but Kiefa manages to pass to half guard.

Boldon thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Boldon is pulling down on Kiefa's head to control his posture.
Kiefa wants to pass the guard but Boldon is keeping the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boldon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kiefa is sitting in close to Boldon's body. Boldon has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kiefa is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kiefa is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Boldon.
