He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shawcross moves in looking to clinch but Coffey pushes him off.
Shawcross misses with a takedown attempt - Coffey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Coffey has Shawcross up against the cage in a clinch.

Coffey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Coffey closes the distance and clinches.
Shawcross blocks a body shot from Coffey.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coffey is pressed up against the cage. Shawcross has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Coffey down to the mat. Coffey avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Shawcross avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shawcross throws a front kick aimed at Coffey's knee but Coffey avoids it well.
Coffey wants to clinch up but Shawcross keeps it at a distance.
