Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Joey Diaz (ranked 6853 p4p, 104 weight class) and Kin Folk (ranked 7607 p4p, 126 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Folk pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Diaz looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Folk misses with a straight right.

Folk clips Diaz with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Diaz a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Folk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively.

Folk cracks Diaz with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Diaz get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Diaz looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Diaz looks low and kicks high, catching Folk right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Folk has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Folk seems to have recovered his senses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Folk crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Diaz - the referee stops the clock and Folk gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Diaz. Folk manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Diaz lands a front kick to the face, that drops Folk to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!

Diaz throws a front kick to the face that drops Folk face first to the mat! Oh, he's in big trouble! He's stumbling all over the place and has face planted into the ropes, causing the referee to call an end to the fight! What a finish!

Joey Diaz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
