The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockayne defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Torres.
Torres has a takedown stuffed.

Rockayne drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Rockayne controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Torres throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Rockayne slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rockayne preventing the sweep.
Torres is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rockayne is controlling him.
Torres is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Torres is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rockayne can do anything to dispel that myth.

Torres looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rockayne is fending him off so far but Torres persists. Nope, Rockayne circles away and we're back to standing.
