Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Lang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lawrence Cohen!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen blocks a leg kick.
Cohen takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Lawrence Cohen has been cut.
Lang looks for the body kick but Cohen saw that one coming.
Cohen moves away from the strike by Lang.
Lang throws a body punch but Cohen moves out of range.
Lang dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lang lands a nice looking body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cohen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lang as he avoids it easily.
Lang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lang misses with a wild body shot.
The crowd cheers as Lang lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cohen doesn't seem phased though.
Lang fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cohen looks gassed!
Cohen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lang.
Lang lands with a nice body punch.
Lang takes a swing at Cohen's ribcage but misses.
Lang's corner calls for a 1-2. Lang obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Lang as he connects with a hook.
Donk. Lang catches Cohen right on the button with a cross.

Cohen misses with a takedown attempt - Lang sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cohen shoots in looking for a takedown. Lang tries to sprawl out of it but Cohen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
James Lang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lawrence Cohen.
Lang cracks Cohen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Cohen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lang finish him?
Lang stuffs the takedown attempt from Cohen. Cohen gets slowly back to his feet.
Lang misses with a looping left.
Lang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cohen manages to avoid it.
Cohen ducks straight into an uppercut from Lang and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Cohen maanges to regain guard straight away.

Cohen is rocked!

Cohen looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lang passes into side control.

Lang stands up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cohen scores a takedown into full mount!
Lang wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cohen throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Lang squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Cohen goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lang is on top in guard.

Lang gets to his feet - Cohen follows without any prompting.
Cohen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cohen.
Lang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lang throws an overhand right that lands on Cohen's shoulder, as Cohen tries to avoid the shot.
Lang throws a right and a left that Cohen avoids nicely.

Lang scores with a nice strike.
Cohen moves out of range as Lang strikes.
A jab from Lang misses.
Cohen fails with the takedown.
Cohen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lang.
Lang is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Cohen staying out of range there.
Lang just misses with a punch to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lang throws a body punch but Cohen moves out of range.

Cohen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The fighters circling - Lang throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
James Lang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lang tries a head kick but it misses.
Lang throws a hook to the side of Cohen's head but Cohen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lang connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cohen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lang but Lang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nice straight punches there by Lang. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lang.
Lang misses with a hook. Cohen ducked under it nicely.
Lang throws a right and a left that Cohen avoids nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cohen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Cohen has a takedown stuffed.
Lang pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Lang connects with a looping right hand.
Lang is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cohen.

Cohen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cohen is looking to take a break and control but Lang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lang tries to escape but Cohen is in control.

Cohen has hold of Lang's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lang seems comfortable defending it but Cohen has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lang is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lang is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cohen couldn't care less - he's delighted!
