Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Katou (ranked 3551 p4p, 484 weight class) and Ron Duggan (ranked 3182 p4p, 448 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ron Duggan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duggan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Katou tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duggan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Katou connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Duggan's hands.
Duggan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Katou drops Duggan with a beautiful combination! Duggan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Katou is looking for the KO!
Duggan is rocked!
It looks like Ron Duggan has been cut.
Katou circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Duggan tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Katou wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joe Katou!
