Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Micky Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Kaufman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mouse's entrance music is Die MF Die. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaufman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Mouse closes the distance and clinches.
Mouse gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kaufman.

Mouse has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kaufman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Kaufman finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.

Mouse cracks Kaufman with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Mouse looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kaufman slips a jab and a cross from Mouse.
Mouse fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kaufman.

Mouse has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mouse lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Wayne Kaufman has been cut.

Mouse is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kaufman can't fight it off and eventually Mouse manages to take the fight to the floor. Kaufman looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mouse wants to control from the top but Kaufman keeps moving.
Mouse is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kaufman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Mouse is really struggling to control Kaufman but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Kaufman is looking to sweep but instead, Mouse has passed into half guard.

Kaufman manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Mouse stalks Kaufman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kaufman's face. Kaufman staggers backwards, shaken.
Mouse will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Mouse throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kaufman's head.
Mouse fails to land the takedown.

Kaufman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mouse tries to roll over but Kaufman keeps him under control.
Kaufman trying to mount his opponent but Mouse defends it.
Mouse wants to control but Kaufman is keeping busy.
Mouse is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kaufman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kaufman's back!

Kaufman is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Mouse has his takedown stuffed

and Kaufman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Mouse wants to hit a switch here but Kaufman passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mouse there!

Mouse sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Mouse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kaufman on the ground.
Mouse wants to get back to full guard but Kaufman has passed into side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kaufman get's back to his feet.

Mouse closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mouse lands in his opponent's guard.
Mouse loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mouse wants to control from the top but Kaufman keeps moving.

Mouse drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kaufman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kaufman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kaufman!

Mouse is trying to control Kaufman's posture but Kaufman avoids it.

Mouse is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Kaufman is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Micky Mouse is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kaufman prevents Mouse from getting the reversal.
Mouse wants to control but Kaufman is having none of it.
Mouse is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kaufman thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Kaufman throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mouse because Kaufman loaded up on that one.
Wayne Kaufman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Mouse has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
