The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnar scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ragnar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Strikes.
Ragnar throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Ragnar buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Strikes tries for a takedown but Ragnar circles away easily
and Ragnar counters with a nice low kick that buckles Strikes's knee momentarily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Carlos Strikes has been cut.
Bjorn Ragnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Strikes.

Ragnar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ragnar drops Strikes with a beautiful combination! Strikes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ragnar is looking for the KO!

Strikes is rocked!
Strikes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ragnar counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Ragnar darts in and clinches Strikes up against the cage.
Strikes wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ragnar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Strikes backwards.

That has opened up Carlos Strikes's cut even more.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ragnar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The cut above Carlos Strikes's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Strikes has had enough of the clinch but Ragnar keeps him there for the moment.

Carlos Strikes's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

We've been informed that Strikes has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

A relieved looking Bjorn Ragnar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
