PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bud Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diesel comes to the cage accompanied by I drink alone.. The crowd seem to be enjoying Glover's choice of entrance music: Run to the hills. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bud Diesel !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glover tries for a takedown but Diesel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Diesel jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Glover shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glover is trying to control the action in half guard but Diesel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Glover throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Glover looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Glover missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Glover prevents Diesel from improving his position.
Diesel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Glover has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Glover wants to stand but Diesel has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Glover is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Diesel doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Glover.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Glover staying out of range there.
Diesel lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Glover backs up against the cage.
Glover walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Mike Glover has been cut.
Glover looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diesel throws a series of punches but Glover avoids them all with ease.
Glover shoots in but no luck this time.
Diesel moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Glover goes down! Can Diesel finish him!?

Diesel gets to his feet - Glover follows without any prompting.
Glover is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Diesel doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Glover crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Glover's bad books for that mishap!
