Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between San Sanich (ranked 1962 p4p, 245 weight class) and Joseph Parker (ranked 2452 p4p, 294 weight class). Parker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Roots Manuva - Again and Again. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, San Sanich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joseph Parker!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sanich looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sanich is defended easily by Parker.
Parker misses with the combination.
Sanich shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Parker pinned against the cage. Parker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Parker's coach down at Bonsai Club MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Parker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Parker throws a lazy right hand but Sanich sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Parker tries to bum rush Sanich with a series of wild strikes but Sanich uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Parker scores with a one two! Sanich had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd cheers as Parker lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sanich doesn't seem phased though.
A looping hook to the body misses from Parker. Sanich does a little dance to reset his feet.
Parker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sanich.
Sanich attempts a counter takedown but Parker avoids it well and moves away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Parker stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for San Sanich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Parker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Parker lands with a shot to the body.
Joseph Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanich looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Parker pushes Sanich off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Sanich shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Parker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Parker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Parker uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Parker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sanich.
Parker lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Nice uppercut there from Parker.
Sanich will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Parker drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Sanich right on the button. Sanich goes down! Parker follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Parker gets the win via TKO!
