Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Mclure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Game (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mclure's entrance music is fight like a brave RHCP. A fine choice. Game has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mclure closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mclure lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mclure is looking to work some ground and pound but Game has wrist control.
Mclure would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Mclure trying to control the position from guard on top but Game is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mclure decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mclure accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mclure tries to stand but Game is controlling from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mclure slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Mclure is looking to take a break and control but Game is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mclure stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Mclure fails in his attempt to clinch.

Game keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck for Mclure with that takedown attempt.

Game changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mclure looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Mclure pushes Game away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Game gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Game working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Game thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mclure is trying to buck Game off.

That was a close round but I would say that Stefan Mclure will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mclure throws a big shot that misses.

Mclure fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mclure looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Game working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mclure turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Game off and cradles Mclure's limp body as Game celebrates with his corner.
